Sincere Life - Dreams In My Notebook

ILL-NOIS NATION Presents the 2nd mixtape from Sincere Life entitled Dreams In My Notebook. It provides thought provoking lyricism from a conscious emcee who takes pride in embodying the true essence of hip-hop. In an era where swag and perception is everything in hip-hop and it seems that lyrics and passion are not even on the list of whats required to be an emcee, Sincere Life writes music to remind us of this very thing. He writes to remind us of the passion thats in all of us that we may have forgotten about as we go through life in this crazy world. He writes to bring back the true essence of hip-hop and show that it used to be about lyrics it didn't matter how much your car or chain cost but about what your art was adding to the ever growing canvas that is Hip-Hop.

With tracks like Triumph, Monster, & Microphone Sincere displays his skills as an emcee by showing he can hold his own on some of hip-hop's most classic production. The song Find A Way , produced by Young Nichi from Lo Lyfe Productionz, finds Life explaining the reason he credits his Mother as his driving force for pursuing his dreams as well as a more detailed look into his upbringing as an adolescent in Chicago. The track "Play Along" displays his story telling skills as he goes through the life of a young man who is fatherless and the effects it has on his mother and himself, as well as a second verse that is just as potent that delves into the life of a young lady who grows up in a home witnessing her mother being abused by the very same person she was taught was her protector and what it does to her perception of love.

The mixtape features Young Nichi, Vickie Secretz, & Young Ali(Lo Lyfe), M-Dot(Street Fire), MC Starr, Foxx One, Chaos New Money, & King Del. Production by Young Nichi(LO LYFE), Beat Show Takeover, B-Luv, Jay-B Beats, J-Rell, Blacklight Music, Cashous Clay, Zone Beats, Ricanstrukta, Sinima Beats, Xcess the Producer & more. Young Ali - The Journey

Young Ali is a gifted emcee and he proves it with his first solo effort The Journey. Hailing from Chicago and representing LO LYFE Productions Young Ali is ready to claim his spot in Hip-Hop with this debut mixtape. Ali takes you on a journey indeed as he opens with "Footsteps" describing the road he has traveled to become the artist he is today. He goes on to open up even more and tends to delve into a vast array of emotions from the struggles of him and his Mom through a fatherless upbringing, his passion for Hip-Hop and desire to be the best, and a glimpse into his view of the world and all of its ills. On tracks like "Number 1" over J Cole's Blow Up beat you feel the hunger in Ali's voice as he drops clever lines describing why he strives to be number 1 on every verse he writes. While "I Want You" stresses the need for companionship "Heartbreak Hotel" explains why so many of us are probably too jaded by the past to ever have it truly. "Tears" is a great addition to this already outstanding body of work he drops a spoken word poem over the angelic voice of Maliy D (LO LYFE artist) that perfectly sets the mood for "Hurt Song" Produced by Nichi (CEO/Artist/Producer for LO LYFE) which samples Michael Jackson and has Ali dropping conscious bars about the state the world is in as well as poignant story that directly reflects the plight of us as a people and what we go through living in these inner cities everyday. The Journey closes out with "Greatness" Produced by Nichi which is a perfect way to end it as Ali speaks on what motivates him to continue on this Journey and strive to be the best emcee. The Journey features tracks with Stacks, Maliy D, Sincere Life, & Young Nichi and with 14 tracks and 2 bonuses its definitely worth the listen. Its a long road to travel but it seems like Young Ali is built for this Journey.

IS IT BECAUSE IM BLACK by Sincere Life

IS IT BECAUSE IM BLACK?
by Sincere-Life Seven

Is it because im black im supposed to struggle like this

no proper opportunities so we hustle like this

took away our fathers so the youth in trouble like this

now they searching for a piece of the puzzle that might fit

street talking sayin wont nobody love you like this

but you know its fake love when they hugging you lifeless

im like a fall guy somewhere in W.I.S

cuz this 9-5 im working is muzzling my gift

humble as i've been im beginning to get vexed

whenever i think of that position i cant get

cuz i showed that i exceeded requirements they set

and they still overlooked me its probably racist

but maybe we can soon overcome it and change it

but if we stay misunderstood then thats something we cant get

see our kids can grow to be off examples that we set

fuck ya race and ya religion its more about respect

Is it because im black that imma be prone to lack

maybe its because of that that my home is never entact

my mother working for scraps my father never been back

this environment where im at how you think that im gone adapt

when everbody moving crack and all of them seeming to make it

this school shit aint payin the landlord aint playin

light people wont listen its the middle of december

aint no heat up in the crib so yo house feel like a blizzard

no food up in the kitchen you often eating your wishes

picture this as a kid for them they aint seeing a ending

hearing your mother pray while you hoping heaven will listen

you back on pivot post with a pistol prone to the sinning

i say nigga to God to give hope of a new beginning

cuz what they took away from our foundation we cant replenish

still suffering from the pillage but i cant say that im finished

cuz till the day i aint living i'll write with intent to fix it

Everybody's A Rapper Everybody Moving Weight

It is important to offer a piece of yourself in turn adding uniqueness to an all to common hip-hop era. It is difficult though to have nothing and hear the constant glorifying of the wrong way to get something when your bred to believe your never gonna have anything. We just need someone to show them it can be done and that's not the only option we have out here.

Music from Sincere Life and ILL NOIS NATION on the way

Welcome

I wanna welcome everybody to 7 is LIFE (Lyrics Interpreting Free Emotions) this is a place I needed to create for me and anyone who can relate to my life through our music. I created this place to serve as a homage to hip-hop because while money flow is heavy it seems passion is being bought out. I also want this to serve as an outlet for our music so that it may reach just one person and helps them get through a time in their life when they didn't think they would because thats what music has done for me time and time again. So take this as an introduction and support it this is an outlet for true all the emcees and for anybody who appreciates music and everybody who appreciates LIFE.
